How it works
Product details
Details:
The InstantVap® Lite 18V is made for hobby beekeepers who want a simple cordless setup without overcomplicating things. It’s recommended for up to around 20 colonies and works well if you’re treating smaller hive numbers at home or on a small block.
It runs on 18V to 20V cordless tool batteries and works happily with lower-capacity batteries too. A 2Ah battery can treat around 8 to 10 colonies with 2g doses, including start-up.
Not sure if Lite is enough? Send us your hive numbers and we’ll point you in the right direction.

Choosing between InstantVap® models? Start with hive numbers, then battery setup, then speed.
Compact is the balanced all-rounder. Lite is better for smaller apiaries. Turbo is built for faster treatment and bigger hive runs.
Original 12V is best for beekeepers treating larger hive numbers who want steady cabled power from a 12V battery setup.
